CSDI WaterTech, in collaboration with Nordic Sustainable Development Association (NSDA) in Sweden, organised successfully a seminar in Oslo, May 12, 2017. A Chinese delegation with more than 20 members, consisting of scientists at top level of Chinese Academy of Engineering, university, university research institutes, associations, high-tech industrial development zones and enterprises attended the seminar. The focal topics of the seminar are SmartCity solutions, green and environment-friendly technologies, governance and best practices as well as bilateral and multilateral international collaboration.

Prof. Academia Lian Hou from the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) and Professor & President Li LEI, Xian Jiaotong University Shanghai Academy, gave key lectures in the seminar. Scientists from SINTEF, NIVA, CICERO, MET and CSDI WaterTech introduced their institutes and main research topics.

Dr. Shouting Zhang from NSDA introduced their business model and experience of collaboration with China in recent years. NSDA and CSDI expressed common interest and wish of tight collaboration with China in the future in the North Europe.

The delegation also visited Bekkelaget Wastewater Treatment plant and Bellona, a R&D foundation in Oslo.

Seminar was completed with high potential and willingness for future collaboration of the participating institutes in the future between China, Norway and Sweden.
